Always 100% Direct Trade, this blend is crafted to represent a cross-section of our favorite relationship coffees, and characterize the flavors we reward and cherish in our Single Origin line. Predominance of sweetness, a lightly fruit-focused acidity, and crystalline clarity are paramount in each of the coffees we select.

Comprised of different seasonal coffees, House Blend is carefully blended and regularly tested for quality and adherence to its intended flavor profile. While the composition may change from time to time, the blend retains its inherent character not only because of methodical quality monitoring, but also as a result of the strident selection process we use to buy all of our coffees. Intensive lot selection, expedient shipping logistics, and a complete feedback loop ensure not only high quality coffee but also longevity to our relationships.

From the Mexican coffees of Oaxaca to the mountain slopes of the Andes in South America, some of the best Latin American coffee farms are frequently planted with Bourbon and Bourbon-hybrid trees. These varieties, while revered for their high quality, are not the most forgiving plants to cultivate; they require a dedicated and watchful farmer to maintain their health and productivity. When careful crop husbandry meets good environmental factors like nutrient-rich soil composition, sufficient elevation, and appropriate amounts of rainfall and sunlight, the flavors are unique and exciting. Mandarin, lemon, milk chocolate and apple are some of the tastes we love in coffees from this part of the world, and are presented in our House Blend with high definition clarity.

Our ­signature dark roast celebrates the savory side of coffees highlighted by caramelized sugars, molasses and chocolate flavors. We roast the coffee in a way that emphasizes these traits and creates a satisfying, resonant finish.
